Important Questions For Selecting The Right Caster
- Do you have the manufacture's part number?
- What is the wheel diameter & tread width?
- What type of wheel material is it?
- How are they mounted (i.e. Top Plate, Stem)
- If plate what are the over-all dimensions and what is the bolthole spacing?
- If stem what is the diameter and length (i.e. Threaded, Octagon, Grip Ring, Rubber Expandable, Etc.)?
- Over-all mounting height of caster?
- Do you need Swivel, Rigid or both?
- Options required (i.e. Wheel Brake, Swivel Lock, Seals, Etc.)?

Important Questions For Selecting The Right Wheel
- What is the diameter and tread width?
- What type of wheel is it (i.e. Steel, Rubber, Phenolic, Polyurethane, Etc.)?
- If your not sure what type it is, make note of the
- Color or colors?
- Is there a tread material with a different center (i.e. Steel, Aluminum or Plastic)?
- Is the tread hard or soft (can you indent the tread with your fingernail)?
- Does it have a bearing, if yes what type (i.e. Roller, Ball, Tapered, Precision Ball, Steel Sleeve)?
- What is the I.D. of the bearing or bore?
- Does the bearing require seals?
- What is the axle or shaft size?
- Does is it ride directly on the axle or is there a spanner bushing between the bearing and the axle?
