Rigid Casters

Rigid casters consist of a rigid caster yoke and wheel assembly, which permits back and forth movement in a strait line. Using rigid casters in conjunction with swivel casters on a cart or equipment makes it easier to maintain control of the unit.

There are two main rigid caster designs, determining which caster will be better for your application will be determined by the size of the wheel you want to use, desired weight capacity, and abuse the caster will be subjected. The two rigid caster designs are as follows: Stamped rigid casters and cut and welded rigid casters. Stainless steel rigid casters are available in both design types.
